 TANO provides a diverse membership package.

1 - Please go to www.tano.org and select the JOIN option.
2 - On the next page select JOIN TANO again.
3 - On the next page, you will see Returning Member? and Not a member yet? If you have previously been to our site, and have set up a username and password, then enter then now. If not, you will need to register first. Under Returning Member? Add your username and your password at that point, a full organizational TANO Organization Membership application will appear for you to complete.

What is veriFYI?
Screening out inappropriate individuals from staff or volunteer positions protects clients from harm and reduces the risk of lawsuits filed against your agency. That's why TANO (the Texas Association of Nonprofit Organizations) has partnered with veriFYI, a comprehensive background check program that encompasses a variety of ways to obtain criminal history. The standard search that veriFYI offers is a multi-jurisdictional search with a social security trace.
